The full title of Taylor Swift can be described as Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on December 13th of 1989, in West Reading, Pennsylvania U.S.A. Taylor Swift became a popular singer and songwriter at the beginning of 2001 when she began to write stories of heartbreak. Swift began to show an interest in music as early as age and she progressed quickly from roles in children's theatre to her first appearance before an audience of thousands. Swift was eleven years old when she performed The Star-Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers Basketball match. Following that Swift began to write songs and took up guitar. Inspiring herself by country music artists such as Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original lyrics that expressed her feelings of the tween years and alienation. In the year 13 Swift's parents sold their farm in Pennsylvania and moved to Hendersonville Tennessee so she could spend more time interacting with country artists in nearby Nashville.
